As one of many projects the company completes each year, the Hodges Alvarado, Tx terminal took 30 employees and spent more than 120 hours working on the relocation of a portable building for the Alvarado school district. The building was moved from the high school on the south side of town to the elementary school on the north side of Alvarado where it will be used as a room for music classes. The 53,000 lbs. building was lifted in one piece by two Hodges cranes and transported across town with the help of the local Alvarado Police Department as escorts.
